Don't Follow me, It's My World

My life has been full of riches and faults
wearing rollerskates on the rollercoaster of life
your way, mine and the freeway
visions of hope, but only illusions
each step of maturity, so called chartered
as a kid believed in what I was told, reality set in
did my best, right or wrong, no regrets
some follow, some lead, it's your world not mine
I do as I see, I wear my glasses to advoid the cracks
I will only hope for the best for you, my steps are walked
I've seeen the darkess, I've seenthe light
Give me a flashlight for this emptiness
I truely believe in you, God, please touch me, let me feel
ups and owns, all around, trust me, I've been there
my father, who might he be, grampa, uncle or mom
doesn't matter I'm all grown up, a man self-made
I still have a heart, though rare it might seem, hiding it away
You are all good decent people, leaders lead
followers of lost souls, your leaders point the way
don't follow me, it's my world, if that's OK!
